Lane & Co

LANE & cO.

HISTORY

Lane & Co was located in Van Nuys, CA. The company produced from the early 1950s up to the late 1960s and they are known primarily for planters and TV lamps. They are famous for their great production volume and varied styles. They also made dinnerware, vases and wall decoration pieces.

The pieces in my collection are so large that I couldn't fit them into my light box!

For the most part, very little is known about this company, but it is believed that they closed their doors at some point in the late 1960’s. All pieces are marked very clearly with “Lane & Co” on their base and some pieces were produced with the Sunkist Creations marking.

The products of Lane & Co. are extremely popular with collectors and are known for their airbrushed coloration and creative designs.
