Japan

I have many beloved pieces that are simply marked “Japan,” “Occupied Japan,” or are completely without a marking/sticker.  I believe these particular items originated in Japan given their (1) light weight, (2) uneven finish, (3) lower paint quality, (4) uneven crazing on glass finished pieces, and (5) lack of detailed accent markings on the face and body (primarily around the eyes).
